5:30 PMCheck out what happened to me while driving down the interstate at 82 miles an hour this afternoon:
Yeah, that wasn't scary at all.
What's really sucky is that this would be the first time I've ever had to change a tire on a pickup truck, having driven regular four passenger cars all of my driving life. So, thanks to the Georgia H.E.R.O. vehicle for stopping and helping me dive into it (since I couldn't find my owner's manual).

Yeah, I know. I say I'm going to update every day, then I disappear for 3 weeks.
What can ya do, ya know?
Well for one, you can actually do stuff you say you're going to do. That's a big one. One I've not yet learned, I guess. But I will say that this momentary lapse of Joe is actually for a really, really hugely important reason. I will be able to tell you more in the coming weeks, but let's just say that I've the opportunity to realize a dream I've had since I was a little kid.
No, not the one with Cheryl Ladd and the bowl of corn flakes. The other one... The one that had to do with writing but not directly related to books.
Yeah, that one. I knew you knew which one I meant.
There is a little bit of good news though - the intense tirade of stuff related to this new project has laxed a bit, so I'm actually able to come back here and jot some crap out (as well as post some new stories over at That other websitey-book thing you might remember I have).
