Is "Department of Driver Services" Georgia's weird name for what most states call "Department of Motor Vehicles" or "Registry of Motor Vehicles"? If so...ha ha, you poor sucker!
I'm lucky that I live in the western half of Massachusetts. We have several RMV branches out this way and with it being less densely populated than say the Boston area, our wait times at the Registry aren't half bad.Plus, they have an online thing showing the current wait time for each branch (http://mass.gov/rmv/branches/index.htm)
so you can check before you go and see if it's really busy or not.
Oh the memories, going to the DMV in CA, was a day long adventure.
Now in the country there is never a wait. 1st in line every time, no waiting.
Hell they only do the driving test on Fridays, and you drive out somewhere to meet the instructor, usually a church parking lot.
I don't miss that at all!
