4.02.2008:
I haven't been sleeping much
10:56 PMI think the past 4 days, I've gotten about three hours of sleep per night at the most. Last night (well technically this morning, as I went to bed at 5am), it was only 2 hours.
I can't explain it. It's not really insomnia, as I don't ever feel tired. I don't WANT to sleep. Which, I guess, is a good thing, since I'm not sleeping.
The only real side effect I can point to is a chronic aching in my head. It's just a dull thud that's constantly there... It will dull if I take a few ibuprofen stacked with a few acetaminophen, but only for a little while. I know it comes directly from not sleeping enough - but like I said, I can't sleep.
It's just not happening. And I don't foresee it getting any better, as I am headed up to Notacon this weekend and I don't ever sleep at Notacon.
Bleh. Anyone got a cure for a headache like this that doesn't involve a guillotine?

You sound like an insomniac to me. You obviously need to sleep, and if you don't get that sleep your brain will literally shut you down when it reaches it's breaking point. Take some sleeping pills Joe.
Insomonia rocks!
Seriously, though, I've been dealing with some crazy insomonia for many, many years.
I'm also going to be a NAC too this year. If you're up between 2 and 6AM, swing by the consuite. You'll see me there.
Drink a couple beers OR get an ambien from your doctor, but don't do both.
Hey Joe,
You may have just the left overs of that flu bug you had. I had it twice this year. I thought for two weeks I was having migrains, turns out I had a mild sinus infection. I couldn't sleep for days and the pain in my head was worse in the mornings. And late in the day.
Try a nasel decongestant.
sounds like someone needs to get their flu shots!
